Invest in Yourself
Picture this, it's 10 years after the big day. You have a home and a family of your own. You try to think back to your beautiful wedding day. The gown, the flowers, the ceremony, the location, the cake, your family and your closest friends. All of these things were a part of your special day, but after time your memory fades, bit by bit. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to pick up your beautiful wedding album and have all those memories surround you. The look on your face as you said your vows and the laughter during the speeches. The love shared between the two of you on your day of everlasting commitment. Now picture your little one, sitting on your knee, with your album laid out in front. You can describe clearly, the story of your wedding day. What a wonderful moment that will be.
Now picture this, you decided to cut back on some of the traditional wedding items, the cake, the flowers and decor. However, you also chose to cut back on your photography. Years later, you have a disk of files that you just never got around to looking through. You open the files up and realize that they aren't that great anyway. Too bad you'd cut back on one of the most important parts of your wedding. Unable to redo your wedding day, and missing those lost memories, you find yourself feeling a bit of regret, for not choosing the best, when you had a chance. This may sound harsh, but as a professional wedding photographer, I have heard this story many times over, from people who chose an uncle or friend to photograph their special day.
